Privacy

What The Long Lap collects from a reader: nothing beyond ordinary server logs, and what happens to a letter sent to the table.

The Long Lap is a static reading room. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party trackers and asks for no account. A reader who opens a frame leaves only the ordinary trace every web server keeps: the address asked for, the time, and the browser's own description of itself.

Letters to the table

A letter sent to table@bristow24.org is read by the keeper and kept only as long as the correction or the conversation it contains still needs it. Letters are never sold, shared or used for any list.

The old address

This domain once carried another site, with its own forms and accounts. None of that survives here: no old mailing list, no registration data, no archived entry was carried over or can be reached from this notebook.
